Community Guidelines

Clippie is built for players, families, coaches, and fans. We want it to feel like a great gym — competitive, loud, and welcoming. These guidelines apply to everyone who uses Clippie.

The short version

Be kind. Don’t harass anyone. Keep it basketball. If you see something that crosses the line, tap “...” and Report it — we’ll review within 24 hours.

What’s not allowed

Clippie has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. The following will be removed and may result in permanent account termination:

• Hate speech & harassment. Slurs, threats, targeted insults based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, ability, or any other identity.
• Bullying. Especially toward youth players, refs, opposing teams, or fans. This is a family product.
• Sexual content or nudity. Any sexual depictions or content sexualizing minors will result in an immediate, permanent ban and a report to law enforcement.
• Graphic violence. Fight footage, intentional injuries, or content that glorifies dangerous behavior.
• Self-harm or suicide content. If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 in the US.
• Doxxing or private info. Sharing someone’s address, phone, school schedule, or other private information without their consent.
• Impersonation. Pretending to be someone else, including other players, coaches, or Clippie staff.
• Spam, scams, and self-promo unrelated to basketball. Clippie is for hoops, not your dropshipping side hustle.
• Illegal activity. Anything that breaks US law.

If you see it, tap Report

Every clip, comment, and profile in Clippie has a Report option in the “...” menu. You don’t need to know which rule applies — just pick the closest fit and we’ll take it from there. We respond within 24 hours, and the content disappears from your feed the moment you submit the report.

Block to control your feed

If a user is bothering you, tap “...” and choose Block. They will instantly disappear from your feed, your stories, your comments, and search. You don’t need to explain why, and they aren’t notified.

How we enforce

• Automatic hide: when multiple users report the same clip, our system hides it from the feed immediately while a human reviews.
• Human review: every report is reviewed by a real person within 24 hours.
• Strikes & bans: we may issue warnings, remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users depending on severity. The most serious violations (e.g. content sexualizing minors) result in an immediate permanent ban with no warning.
• Appeals: if you think we got it wrong, email support@getbuzzer.io.

Players under 18

Clippie is meant for ages 13+. If you are under 18, please get a parent or guardian’s permission before signing up. Parents — you can email us any time to delete your child’s account or content.
